Conference Policies

Peer Review Process

All submissions to the BFX Conference are peer-reviewed by at least two independant reviewers, in fields specifically matching the conference topic. The submissions will be allocated according to the tracks  and themes identified by the author at the submission stage.

The conference have selected reviewers that stem from a range of disciplines to reflect the thematic concern of the conference. They have experience in publishing and contributed to the academic discourses in this field. They will be looking for submissions that address the conference topic and that are deemed of value to the field.

Following submission authors will be able to follow the progress of their submission online and informed accordingly via email.


Archive Access Policy

The presentations that make up the current and archived conferences on this site have been made open access and are freely available for viewing, for the benefit of authors and interested readers.


About BFX

The BFX Conference is a yearly conference that runs alongside the BFX Festival. It seeks to draw academic focus, within the arts and humanities, on digital imaging techniques and its impact within the field of moving images and the arts.
